I finally saw the movie.Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, that is, and I'm a bit meh about it, but I suppose it could have been worse. Hermione's sweaters seemed to capture my attention for most of the time, and I couldn't decide if it was in a good or a bad way.

There are two more weeks until my exams start, and I'm trying to find distractions from the stuff I'm supposed to be doing. Therefore, I'm eagerly awaiting the assignments from the various fests so I can start writing :)

My amazing 'Broken/abused Draco fics' list has reached 20 entries and I;'m thinking about posting the version I have so far before asking around in comms and on Yahoo groups. I could point people to it and ask if they know others.

I've developed a rather smart method of creating the list, using several different files and the wonder that is XML. It'll probably be more useful for longer lists, but if any of has a nice long spreadsheet with data they want formatted for the net, don't hesitate to contact me. I might feel a bit useful :)

In other news, I'm waiting for my hd_inspired fic to be betaed (the deadline is today, but I'm not good with deadlines, so I didn't have it ready two weeks ago like I should have) I had three other versions, better said started three different fics, but I wasn't happy with the way they were going, so I abandoned them for the time being. I hope my recipient will like what I wrote :)

I’ve been having trouble following my friends list for a while now, and after the moves to InsaneJournal, it’s gotten worse. After a bit of looking around I found a very good solution for that and I’ll be nice and share it with you :)
There are RSS Reader programs where you can add the link of the journal you want to keep track of and then you can read the entries. That’s nice and good, but you have to have that program installed on all the computers you might be using, and that’s a bit unpleasant.
The obvious solution is an online RSS feeds reader, and the best (and first) I found is the one provided by Google for a Gmail account. Here’s what you can do with it:
* Read entries in LiveJournals, InsaneJournals, Wordpress and Blogspot (I presume it works with GreatestJournal, but I haven’t tested it)
* See all the unread entries
* Star entries (makes them share-able with others)
* Label any entry (this is one of my favourite email features, and it’s wonderful that they have it here, as well).
* Search the entries. You can search all of them, or only from a selected source.
* See the entries without graphics (very good for NWS images when reading from work ;) )
* Use folders to organize the journals
* Import existing subscriptions
If you want to set this up, you must have a Gmail account. (You can Sign up for free here) Click on the Readers link at the top of the page and then add journals by clicking on ‘Add subscription’. You can add a button to your Firefox toolbar so you can add subscriptions as you read pages (http://www.google.com/reader/view/?source=cccbar#overview-page)

Welcome to my insane journal :) This is where I introduce myself a bit and explain what I like/dislike and what you'll find here.

First of all, this won't be backup for my LJ account. I will post all the fics I have there and the fics I've written for different comms, but I will also write my opinions about the fandom and its creations. I'm not very well organized and I tend to get carried away when explaining something, so beware ;)

About my fics... they're gen or Harry/Draco so far. I have only one published fic, but I'm working on several right now (four, to be exact :)) so you'll have plenty to read from me.

I am a pretty patient and calm person when it comes to others, especially when it's not RL related, so if you have anything to say or ask, have no fear :)

I'll be busy discovering the IJ community and trying to change the way my journal looks over the next few days, then begin posting.
